Prior to the 2007 Math and Science Partnership (MSP) Learning Network Conference, CCSSO convened a workshop that provided MSP evaluators and project staff with the results of the CCSSO MSP RETA study and a demonstration of how data tools can be applied to evaluation of different initiatives. The workshop highlighted examples of the use of longitudinal data systems for measuring gains in student achievement in relation to program improvement initiatives and demonstrated specific statistical analyses that have been used with large-scale assessment programs to measure program effects.
